I can't believe it's 21 years since this song was released. Makes me feel old. Great memories though and a great website.
Every time I hear this song it takes me back to my childhood. Even now I like it as much as I did back then and my son now also likes it too.

I remember when i was about 3 and i used to practically worship rupert and i loved the frog song. Sadly my video has long since been wrecked and binned but i still remember the story.

My husband and I both remember singing this song in school assembly during the Christmas season and it brings back lovely memories for us both! Excellent to see again. My 3 month old seems to enjoy it too!
My first ever single at the age of 1. I loved this song. It shaped my life as a great socialist anthem 'we all stand together'

My dad played it to me wen i was about 9, i loved it!!!! i'm only 17 now tho, so it was kinda before my time, but my older brother and sister grew up with it. i still dig the old vid out occasionally and watch it if i've got a spare 20 minutes or so.

I remember it like if it was yesterday. I was nine and the video was on tv and after that I was trapped!!
I think the video positively influenced any 80's child who watched it. I have only one very early memory of seeing it, but still remember the tune and and the incredible feeling of peace and love it conveyed.
My parents are and have always been huge Beatles fans so when the frog song came out (i was coming up to 5, my older brother 7 and younger brother just born) my parents got it straight away. i remember my dad doing impressions of the frogs and singing the frog song during thunder storms to keep us happy. And watching the video on rainy sundays whilst my brothers played football
I first saw Rupert and the Frog Song on MTV in the 80's (I think it was that) and only caught a little bit of it. I tried to find out about it as I was a huge fan of Rupert Bear but it wasn't until I was able to search the Internet that I found out more about it. I now own two singles and the DVD.
